Greetings from Author Rusty Nugent: A new adult, urban and dark fantasy series.

Greetings y’all, My name is Rusty Nugent. I am a southern Dark Fantasy with elements of horror, supernatural, paranormal, honor, days of old, action, adventure, blood, gore and romance blogger/author/reader. I’m writing on my third novel in the MW Series. My books are about heroic werewolves waging war against evil vampires and other evil supernatural creatures. In thirteen sixty-three. The werewolf warrior Stytentos is jaded and disillusioned, living in a monastery in Nepal. His outlook on life has changed since the humans turned on his people and began hunting them to the point of extinction. As mass hysteria took over Dacia, lycanthropes and humans alike were burned at the stake, accused of being werewolves “in league with the Devil” by the self-righteous and power-hungry Catholic Church. Stytentos is attempting to rebuild his life in the aftermath of the darkest chapter of his people’s existence: The Burnings. There are many werewolf vs vampire action scenes in their supernatural forms. I have two books so far in the MW series but the first book is unavailable at this time. My second book’s title, Moonwarriors: [book:Guardians of the Night|6623801]. Please can you read my fourth chapter of my third book, Moonwarriors: In A Blackened Dawn. The website Wattpad is great for writers and readers to join forces. Check it out if your an author or writer. (^_^) Good luck and Thanks.

A poem/song about my books on youtube, a taste of my overall talent. It’s called Full Moon Bloodlust.

When the moonlight strikes me, I am filled with power. In an evil age, in my darkest hour. Death and Destruction are the pleasures of my life. A lonely life filled with agony. Here I stand upon this Ledge with sword in hand I hereby pledge. That in the full moon’s waning light. I shall make my Sacrifice. The Fog drifts down the hills into my dark domain. My senses sharp and I Insane. Into the woods I go with the moonlight as my guide. I now creep like the mist and from my wrath you can not hide. I shall avenge all I have lost. Behold the coming of death with your now ending immortal life. I shall make my sacrifice. Unto the goddess of the night. I shall make my sacrifice.

Dirty Dancing (1987)

Dirty Dancing (1987).

Dirty Dancing (1987)

Director: Emile Ardolino
Screenplay: Eleanor Bergstein
Cast: Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey
Genre: Romance, Music, Drama

Budget: $6,000,000
Gross: $63,892,689

Synopsis: In 1963, Frances “Baby” Houseman, a sweet daddy’s girl, goes with her family to a resort in upstate New York’s Catskill Mountains. Baby has grown up in privileged surroundings and all expect her to go on to college, join the Peace Corps and save the world before marrying a doctor, just like her father. Unexpectedly, Baby becomes infatuated with the camp’s dance instructor, Johnny Castle, a man whose background is vastly different from her own. Baby lies to her father to get money to pay for an illegal abortion for Johnny’s dance partner. She then fills in as Johnny’s dance partner and it is as he is teaching her the dance routine that they fall in love. It all comes apart when Johnny’s friend falls seriously ill after her abortion and Baby gets her father, who saves the girl’s life. He then learns what Baby has been up to, who with and worse – that he funded the illegal abortion. He bans his daughter from any further association with “those people”. In the first deliberately willful action of her life, Baby later sneaks out to see Johnny – ostensibly to apologize for her father’s rudeness – and ends up consummating her relationship with Johnny. A jealous fellow vacationer sees Baby sneaking out of Johnny’s bungalow the next morning, and in an act of retribution, tells management that he is responsible for a theft the evening before, knowing he would not furnish his real whereabouts.

Pros:  The Dancing is fantastic. It really shows that anyone can learn and that it is a great way of having fun and expressing yourself.

Cons: It drags on a bit. The story is decent but let’s face it what really makes this movie work is the dancing.

Rating: 3.5/5 Stars. Yes this is a classic movie. The only reason I will watch this film again and again  is because I love the dancing and it inspires me to chance my dreams even if people (especially family) try to stop me.

Twilight (2008)

Twilight (2008)

Director: Catherine Hardwicke

Screenplay: Melissa Rosenberg and Stephanie Meyer

Cast: Kirsten Stewart, Robert Pattinson

Genre: Drama, Fantasy, Romance

Budget: n/a

Gross: n/a

Synopsis: Bella Swan  (Kirsten Stewart) was not expecting anything out of the ordinary to happen when she moved to live with her Dad in Forks, Washington. But this where her life truly begins. There she meets Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a mysterious and captivating student at her new high school. Bella soon discovers that Edward is hiding a secret, after he impossibly saves her life from a van with his super-human strength and speed. She is determined to unravel his secret, but the truth is more terrifying than she realized. Edward is a vampire. Any normal person would just keep away from him, but Edward and Bella have fallen passionately and unconditionally in love with each other. And so begins their forbidden relationship between a human and a vampire. But the young lovers soon discover that their troubles are only just about to begin.

Pros: Its nice to see a movie and compare it to the book. Its never as good as the book, however it was nice seeing how a girl (Bella) becomes completely obsessed with a guy. Its a real world problem.

Cons: Bella was washed out compared to Edward the vampire. Kirsten Stewart can use way more facial expressions.

Rating: 2.5/5 stars. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’ve read the book. Its not the greatest movie but its cute for an adaption of a book.

The Host (2013)

Director: Andrew Niccol
Screenplay: Andrew Niccol and Stephanie Meyer
Cast: Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, Jake Abel
Genre: Adventure, Romance, Sci-fi

Budget: n/a
Gross: n/a

Synopsis: When an unseen enemy threatens mankind by taking over their bodies and erasing their memories, Melanie (Saoirse Ronan) will risk everything to protect the people she cares most about, proving that love can conquer all in a dangerous new world.

Pros: Interesting Storyline. I was very into the movie. I kept wanting to know more. The camera work was great, love all the layers. The hidden community using the mirror device to grow crops was brilliant.

Cons: It would have been nice to know why the aliens hated humans more, it wasn’t completely explained.

Rating: 4.5/ Stars. Definitely a great movie. It makes me want to read Stephanie Meyer’s book “The Host.”

Blue Lagoon (1980)

Director: Randal Kleiser
Screenplay: Henry De Vere Stacpoole and Douglas Day Stewart
Cast: Brooke Shields, Christopher Aitkens, Leo McKern
Genre: adventure, romance, drama
Budget: $4,500,500
Gross: n/a

Synopsis: In the Victorian period, two children are shipwrecked on a tropical island in the South Pacific. With no adults to guide them, the two make a simple life together, unaware that sexual maturity will eventually intervene.

Pros: This film idea was new at the time, being wrecked in a place no one could find them. It goes back to almost primal times where they had to use the resources available to them.

Cons: It seems to drag on at a point and you forget what happens.

Rating: 2/5 Stars. I would watch this again but not often. It could be remade in a better way.

Then she explains to Adam that there is an ancient war between the Gargoyles that are angels and demons under the command of the Prince Naberius. She also invites Adam to join the Gargoyles in the war against demons, but Adam prefers to isolate in a remote place. Two hundred years later, Adam returns and finds a modern society. Soon he learns that Naberius has the intention of creating an army of soulless corpses to be possessed by demons. The scientist Terra is researching a process to create life and Naberius is seeking Dr Frankenstein’s journal to help Terra and raise his army.
Pros: Action scenes were great and action packed.
Cons: Another demons vs angels (gargoyles really) was just another bust.
Rating: 2/5 Stars. From the trailer this thriller looked like it would be fun to see but besides the action scenes I was not a thrilled viewer.
